Much better than your average textbook - easy to understand

This book is a very helpful resource when learning the basic concepts of introductory statistics. By applying the lessons to real life situations occurring in the world of sports, the reader is able to see the relevance of statistics in everyday life. The topic of sports makes this textbook far more interesting than the typical statistics textbook while still providing all the necessary information. It also includes multiple examples for every lesson making it nearly impossible to still be confused after finishing the chapter.

I think this book helped me to understand some of the concepts better as I can apply what I am learning in class to real life examples in sports, in which applying the material to something I am interested in gives me a better understanding of the material.
