Good review and text

I bought this book as a review before doing a talk on community health. It is an easy read and contains a good deal of case study material. The approach to health interventions described within is very practical but it also includes a good review of the philosophical underpinnings of these approaches. The only thing I would have liked more of in this book would have been a more detailed discussion of cross-cultural work and about the potential negative impacts of western medical approaches to health care.
