How bad do you want it?

Excellent home fitness course. Arrived on time, and was in the condition that was stated in the description (like new/lightly used). The book is full of illustrations for 95% of the exercises, and is divided into sections for each muscle group (chest, biceps, forearms, back.....). My only complaint is that John, the author, decided to wear booty shorts when he was shooting the illustrations, but oh well. At least he had the confidence to do it I suppose. This was not designed to be a get-ripped-quick course like so many of the other products on the market today, but rather a guideline for maintaining your overall fitness for your entire life. Although this could certainly be used by itself to achieve just about any fitness goal you might have, there are probably quicker ways of getting to where you want to go than this, P90X for example. Based on age-old exercises proven by Charles Atlas and other pioneers of bodybuilding, this course will help you achieve your goals and energize your body like you wouldn't believe possible. If you have any doubts as to the effectiveness of these exercises, take a look at the kangaroo. Or a lion. No really, I mean it. I'm willing to bet that you're jealous of the kangaroo's physique now, huh? Never thought that day would come, did you? They don't pump iron, and their bodies are in peak condition at nearly all times. This is the idea behind this course. Your success is literally in your hands.

Awersome book I highly recommned it

I am on my second copy of this book, to me, this is the "bible" of isometric exercises. This book has photos, and descriptions of exercise to work all the major muscle groups of your body. Using this book and eating properly I have lost almost 50 lbs. I use to be a "gym rat", and years of lifting weights from my teens well into my early 30's, did a number on my joints. Now in my 50's I can do 95% of these exercises, without causing any discomfort to my joints. it takes practice and patience to learn to do use tension to simulate "weight", but it is well worth, this is a great book.

Packed with great examples and a great addition to my exercise routine. These body weight only / dynamic resistance exercises are especially well suited to getting them done quickly and done in any location (hotel room, your bedroom or anywhere you have spare time). The ab routine was very well written and worked wonders. Who would have thought 60 repetitions every other day (for first couple weeks) was all it would take to see great improvements). Derived from Charles Atlas and other best exercise practices that the author has pulled together in a great book. Highly recommend.
